Best Bars have been designing and building towbars in Auckland since 1982. They started as a
towbar fitting shop and now run a purpose-built plant in Wiri, with their engineering and testing
done in house to international automotive standards.
They carry the flat-tow gear alongside their own work: baseplates, tow bars, A-frames, brake
systems and the dog clutch setups that let an automatic tow safely behind a motorhome.
They hold Blue Ox stock on site, and the setups go out steadily. We were up at the Wiri workshop recently to take the team through the newer products and the dog clutch install.
